Making money with your blog

I’ll be tackling monetization and making a career out of blogging here at Mom Central Blogger University after I cover some basics first. (Patience young grasshopper.)

Before I do, take a few minutes to watch this video from Buzzlogic, a up and coming blog ad network. Their video with Stephanie Quilao of Back in Skinny Jeans and The Everyday Blogger is part of their BuzzLogic Vino Diaries interview series.

Listen to Stephanie’s suggestions for monetization and about working with companies. I agree that ad networks, advertising and affiliate programs must be part of your money making mix. However, they will be small percentage of your total earnings. Instead, the big money is in consulting, speaking engagements, and book deals.
